Pastor Mike Winger’s review of The Passion “Bible” has disappeared from it’s official Facebook page. You can see a Mike Winger video analysis of this unholy book here.
Concerning the recent disappearance of his less than favorable review on Facebook, Winger writes:
My review of The Passion Translation has disappeared. Last night I left a review of The Passion Translation on the official Facebook page for it. Then you all started to leave reviews as well, and to vote up my review, which would cause more people to see it.
But some time in the last hour the official Facebook page for The Passion Translation has turned off all reviews. You can’t see any of the reviews or what rating it has anymore and you can’t post new reviews. My review is not available on their page, neither are your reviews. Actually, that’s probably a good business decision on their part.
Still, more reviews are coming soon on YouTube. The first one is going to be where I interview Tremper Longman on the Song of Songs as it was “translated” by Brian Simmons.
Side note: It would be helpful to people if we had even more reviews by you all on Goodreads, Amazon and wherever else you may be able to post them, since Brian Simmons or whoever works for him won’t be able to delete those.
Awareness is really starting to get out there.
PS- you can still see my review on my page or in some searches but not on the review section of The Passion Translation Facebook page. Because they no longer have a review section. It has been removed due to all the negative reviews that poured in over the last 12 hours.
