Joy and safety

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:13)

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. (Psalm 32:11)

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. (Romans 5:11)

Bethel Redding is a shark tank-woe to Bethel

I believe there must be some (a few?) within the Bethel Redding movement who are saved in spite of all the strange teachings. God knows who is saved, I do not. But this bells-and-whistles theology continues to draw people, and Bethel Redding’s reach is long indeed.

And so there are those who warn.

Latest Chosen Series Defense–“Not Produced By Mormons”–Misleading, Evasive, and Wrong

Regarding the newest defense effort—”not produced by Mormons”—it is inarguable that the series is heavily influenced, financed, advertised, promoted, supervised, inspired—and produced by practicing Mormons. Thus, it is misleading, evasive, and wrong to say it is “not produced by Mormons” because that is purporting that Mormons have nothing to do with the creation and production of The Chosen.

While The Chosen may not appear to be a “Mormon production,” this series could not have been created, produced, promoted, and distributed without significant involvement from Mormons (who, by the way, are major shareholders (owners) of The Chosen, LLC.). (emphasis mine)
