Boast of this

Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches;

but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Bethel Church’s new megabucks megastructure will model ‘on earth as it is in heaven’

“Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up”

Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.

When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”

Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.” (John 2:13-17)

His holy zeal.

A simple question: How then does Christ feel about the false teachers (and heretics) who mislead His sheep from the pulpit? Who operate with impunity within the visible church?

Just asking.
